Often times there people can get caught up in being negative, especially with the city council that Shawnee has had to endure, and so I am glad to read something positive about our city. Our police force works very hard to keep us safe; let us not forget that we are a border community that deals with influences from WyCo. I live in an apartment complex that is small and right next to city hall where there are drug deals and out of town guests constantly coming by late at night, the Shawnee PD is always right there when we need them. Thanks to the boys in blue and to Shawnee Ray for pointing out their big success!
